[b]More snow[/b]

It was quite a weekend...in the eastern part of Holland a thick blanket of snow covered the landscape. As a result on friday a record of almost 900 km of traffic jam on the roads and widespread chaos and stranded people. I was drinking a hot chocolate as I decided wisely not to go to work in Wageningen. Here some nice photo's from Deventer and surroundings.

Winter in Holland

Today the first snow of this winter had fallen! Last week friday I was in a nice sunny and warm Sydney.....quite a difference I can tell you.

BBQ farwell party Canberra

On a windy Saturday 12 Nov-2005 almost a year had past and it was time for me to say goodbye. To celebrate I gave a BBQ at the lake. Today here back in Holland the first SNOW has fallen! See pictures! Quite a difference with the 28 degrees and sun on Bondi beach I enjoyed last friday this time...

Last days in Sydney
|
|
Before flying back to Holland I spent a few days in Sydney. On Wednesday there was the soccur match between Australia and Uruguy, with Guus Hiddink as coach of the Ozzie team. Australia won and qualified itself for the World Chamionship 2006 in Germany for the first time since 1976. Congratulations!. I did some last shoppings and went sun baking on Bondo beach on Thursday with a nice temp of 28 degrees.

Alice Springs and Uluru
|

Hi,
Just returned from my trip to Alice Springs. It was awesome. Although the temperatures were between 36-42 degrees and the flies really liked me, we survived. We went to Uluru, Kings Canyon and the Olga's.
Later this weekend I will put more photo's online, so check out again then. Now just a few days in Canberra remaining. Saturday my farwell party (Ozzie BBQ) and then Tuesday evening to Sydney. Then on Friday I will fly back to Holland, to enjoy the Dutch winter....brrrrrrrrr (en stampot).
